I've been a fan of Sonny/Carly since before they even happened. I remember predicting them getting together a couple months before it happened. I'm a fan of them in all their fomats...lovers, haters, friends, enemies. They are entertaining in every instant.

What I love most about them is their passion..in each other, in their family, in their lives. Even those they don't always love each other or even like each other, they are always each others biggest supporters and defenders.

A Sonny/Carly Timeline:
Jan 1999 - Sonny & Carly first meet.
Nov 1999 - Sonny & Carly kiss and have sex for the first time.
Jan 2000 - Carly finds out she's pregnant...it's Sonny's!
Feb 2000 - Sonny finds out she's pregnant.
Mar 2000 - Sonny blackmails AJ to give Carly custody of Michael. Carly and Michael move in with Sonny. They go to the Island for the first time.
Apr 2000 - Sonny tells Carly about being abused as a child.
May 2000 - Sonny & Carly make love for the first time. Carly agrees to marry Sonny "for the baby." They find out they are having a boy. AJ and Carly fight and Carly falls down the stairs. Carly loses the baby while Sonny watches her fall.
Jul 2000 - Carly gives Sonny back his ring and moves out with Michael. She and Michael try to move into Jason's Penthouse.
Aug 2000 - Sonny & Carly are both arrested. Sonny worries about Carly testifying against him.
Sep 2000 - Sonny pushes Carly to marry him so she can't testify, but she resists. Jason bets Carly $20 she and Sonny will be happy. Sonny and Carly marry. They share their first dance. Carly admits to Bobbie that she's in love with Sonny.
Oct 2000 - The charges are dropped against Sonny which means their marries can be annulled. Carly doesn't want that to happen. Sonny tells Carly he needs her and she makes him happy. Carly wants a job. First she want to work at the coffee warehouse, then asks her mom, then wants Deception.
Nov 2000 - Sonny & Carly share their first Thanksgiving. Their own family.
Dec 2000 - Sonny gets shot and tells Alexis to tell Carly he loves her. She tells Carly. Carly tells an unconscious Sonny she loves him.
Jan 2001 - Sonny dies and sees Lilly and his sons in heaven. He's brought back to life and tells Carly "I came back for you." Sonny tells Carly he loves her. Carly counters that she's loved him for a long time. Sonny proposes to Carly, he wants to be married before God.
Feb 2001 - Sonny & Carly get shot at. Sonny gets caught in a bomb explosion. They spend their first Valentine's day with a bubblebath. Sonny is afraid for Carly's safety and tells her they cannot be married anymore. Carly goes to the chapel in Martinique, trusting that Sonny will follow. He does, still insisting he can't marry her. He tells her he needs her, that he should walk away but can't. Sonny and Carly marry.
Apr - July 2001 - Carly attempts to "rescue" Sonny by trying to get him into witness protection. She betrays him, one thing Sonny cannot forgive. He files for divorce from Carly. Carly thinks she might be pregnant again.
Aug 2001 - She turns out not to be pregnant.
Sep 2001 - Sonny gives Carly the divorce papers. Carly asks him to listen to his hear, to forgive her.
Oct 2001 - Carly shreds the divorce papers. AJ signs over all rights to Michael. Sonny still wants to adopt him. Sonny admits he still loves Carly.
Nov 2001 - Sonny says maybe he can live with her betrayal. She says she needs forgiveness he cannot give. she sighs the papers. He cannot sign them. He asks her to come home, stay the night. She almost does. They argue, Carly believes Sonny always assumes the first of her at first thought. She asks him to sign the papers. She leaves as they are both in tears. He signs the papers.
Dec 2001 - Carly tells Sonny she still want's him to adopt Michael.
Feb 2002 - Sonny burns the divorce papers. He's jealous when he finds out Carly kissed another man.
Apr 2002 - Carly finds Sonny in bed with Alexis. Her car goes over a cliff and she is assumed dead.
May 2002 - Michael sees Carly alive. DNA proves the body over the cliff is Carly's. They have the funeral.
Carly walks in during the ceremony, but runs out. Sonny chases her. Sonny and Carly reunite. Carly wants forgiveness but Sonny said he doesn't know what it feels like. Does it feel like a giant weight has been lifted? That's what he felt when he saw Carly alive. Sonny and Carly make love.
June 2002 - Carly finds out she can't get pregnant again but doesn't tell Sonny. Sonny & Carly remarry.
July 2002 - Carly is caught embezzling money from her club. She tells sonny she did it for money for fertility treatments. The Dr. tells Sonny & Carly they can try for a baby. Alexis is pregnant and it could be Sonny's. Sonny leaves to find out about the baby. Carly is hurt and leaves the penthouse. She takes off her rings and leaves them there. Carly, thinking Jason is at the door says she'll never love anyone but Carly...but it's Sonny there. They almost make love and Sonny leaves when Jason call's, leaving Carly very mad. Carly files a restraining order. Sonny is arrested for violating the order. He's released and kidnaps Carly to the island. Sonny asks for 24 hours to prove that he loves her. The truth that we all know comes out, of course she loves him.
Aug 2002 -
Michael and Carly move back into the penthouse. Michael calls Sonny daddy.
Sep 2002 - Sonny wants Carly and Michael to go to the island for their safety. Carly resists, she wants to stay with Sonny. Sonny is shot and announced dead. It's a drug induced sleep, and he and Carly share romance at the safe house.
Dec 2002 -
Sonny is arrested but makes it home in time for Christmas.
Feb 2003 -
Sonny & Carly talk about having a baby.
Mar 2003 -
Sonny & Carly find out they are having a baby! Carly is unsure if it's Ric's or Sonny's. Apr 2003 - Dec 2003 - Carly falls through the ice trying to save Michael. She needs medication that will kill the baby. If she doesn't, she will die. Sonny choses to save Carly. Carly awakes before the medicine is needed. Carly is kidnapped by Ric. Ric wants to steal her baby and raise it as his and Liz's. Sonny and Jason find out where she is, but before they can rescue her, she is kidnapped by Lorenzo. Lorenzo held her in exchange for running drugs. Sonny rescues Carly, but Lorenzo is obsessed with her. He tried to woo Carly away from Sonny, even hiring someone to impersonate Sonny's dead wife Lily. Sonny is convinced they will never be safe with him and buys Carly a house for her, Michael and the baby. But not Sonny. Once Sonny realized it was a hoax, he raced to Carly who was in labor. Alcazar was there helping her. Sonny shot Alcazar, delivers baby Morgan and realized he had also shot Carly. Carly lapsed into a coma for several weeks. Sonny remains by her side, but when he leaves, Alcazar sneaks in. Carly awakes with feelings not for her husband and family, but for Alcazar who she has been dreaming about. Sonny takes them to the island where Carly admits she doesn't feel the love for him and the kids. Sonny leaves to confront Alcazar. Alcazar sets up sonny for attempted murder. Carly tries to warn Alcazar but he is shot by Sonny. Sonny kidnaps Sam so she can help him get away. Sam urges him not to give up on Carly. Sam will not say that Sonny kidnapped her. Carly desperately tries to save Sonny and takes him off to France to live on the run. They decide to return to Port Charles. Sonny gets off at the trial. Carly yells at Alcazar after the trial for setting up Sonny. She awakes to find that all her feelings for Sonny and her family have returned. They spend a nice Christmas at home with the kids.
